Topic- Mom, you’re the best…
Mom You’re the best runner
Always running away from me from dad from home
Why? I knew dad had alcohol issues but he was overcoming it
He was overcoming it for you
Why couldn’t you wait a little longer?
Why did you have to abandon me?
Was it so hard to be with me too?
I didn’t have issues mom I was just a little girl
And that little girl needed her mother
Mom, you’re the best quitter
You just quit everything and left with the man who had come to pick you up I thought you loved dad
But alas, everything was a lie I remember the look on dad’s face when you left
When you quit all of us because you couldn’t take anything
And my poor dad thought all this while that everything was real and everything was going to get better
Only if you told him a little earlier You would have saved a lot of trouble for us
But it’s okay Its really okay mom I hope you don’t run away from that man and his daughter too
Or The whole thing comes back to bite you I’m sorry.
I wish you had kept all this real.
