All About November

November with uncanny witchery in its changed trees…..

Where do we even start when it comes to how eventful November has been. From furious nerve-crossing and memorable events like MAM chaired by the President Rtr. Jamshed Chaina himself to upcoming booked dates for events like Camphoria by Club Service, 10 Race to Finish by Professional Development and so on. The season of autumn is around and the leaves are falling but each and every avenue is making sure the events blossom like the start of a nostalgic summer.

FOLLOWING ARE THE EVENT UPDATES FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER

Chosen Family.

On the internationally recognized ‘World Adoption Day’, our community service directors Rtr. Meet Jain and Rtr. Soha Deshmukh carried out a street play in order to raise awareness around the subject. It was in collaboration with Bal Asha Trust and the crowd around was quite attentive and applauded at the end as well. It is one of the most important topics to be talked about.

Mera Avenue Mahaan

‘Mera Avenue Mahaan’ a legacy project carried out by the President himself, decorated the month of November with competitiveness and felicity. The hierarchy was divided in teams and over the course of time, memories were made not only during the two days of MAM but the practices that followed those. With the theme of Money Heist, Rtr. Jamshed Chaina made sure it was a total blast (ask palak and kavya for ref) with teams named after characters like Denver, Berlin, Nairobi, Tokyo and Rio.

Quotes our mischievous November brings us…..

“There comes a time when people get tired of being pushed out of the glittering sunlight of life’s July and left standing amid the piercing chill of an alpine November.”

Martin Luther King, Jr.

“The thinnest yellow light of November is more warming and exhilarating than any wine they tell of.”

Henry David Thoreau

“The wind that makes music in November corn is in a hurry. The stalks hum, the loose husks whisk skyward in half-playing swirls, and the wind hurries on… A tree tries to argue, bare limbs waving, but there is no detaining the wind.”

Aldo Leopold

Have you been wondering where Miss Walls has been all this time? Well, the detectives can confirm precisely that she has definitely not gone missing again. Look, it’s the snug season of November and let’s face it; all we want to do is wrap ourselves in blankets with a hot beverage in our hand, cut the lights and watch our comfort show. Fair enough right?
As we try to justify Miss Walls’ disappearance with the most appealing words, a tall man with dark hair looking extremely like a suspicious stranger (probably was one) appears out of nowhere and hands us a hand written letter. We are smiling but we’re terrified of solving yet another mystery of Miss Walls after what happened the last time.
We open the envelope and it reads:
“It’s November, my loves. Let me sleep.”
That’s it? THAT’S IT?
We remind ourselves of our own recent justification and exchanging a nod we simply leave.

In the words of your dear detectives, “November shades the sky a certain way. November brings comfort in drawing curtains and takes away the guilty of leaving time to yourself. November smiles like a little child pulling the greatest trick of all time. And I ask. I ask November, “How do you do it? How do you change the nature so delicately that people all around me are falling in love?”

  2. My favorite one was definitely chosen family! It gave us an opportunity to reach out to the general public which is a very unique experience in itself… I love that RCKC always gives us different challenges in order to help us develop ourselves!
