I want to break the stereotypes,
So what if I’m gay?
Why am I abandoned;
And not allowed to stay?
I’m a person alive,
I’ve a heart, feelings and a soul,
Just like you, I’ve a dream,
To get married, live and achieve my goal.
Hate me or loathe me,
It’s going to remain the same,
May be then you could try;
And stop playing the gender game.
I am proud and unshamed,
For, it wasn’t my choice,
I’m here to live and love,
To play and rejoice.
I’ll be amongst you all,
Sit, stand, learn and pray,
Respect me for who I am,
I’m a proud gay!
